Some Helpful Hints to prepare you for a reading...
When going for a reading, it is best to be prepared. A tarot reading is a reflection of the subconscious mind at that specific point in time. It is not necessarily about seeing the future, rather to get an idea of possible directions. Many people feel the energy from a reading as uplifting and energising. The reader works clairvoyantly and reads the patterns of energy in the cards and layout. Open up, trust and be willing to discuss your life issues. I do not sit in judgement of your life - you live your life and your choices are your own. The more you relax, the easier it is to establish how the patterns of energy are unfolding for you.
The reader will map out with you, any possible areas and strategies that need exploring in your life. To get the best value from your reading, it is best to work as a team.

Before the Reading...
It's always handy to have some specific issues or questions ready to look at and work through. That said though, if you don't have anything specific to ask, or are overwhelmed with all the questions you have; it is perfectly okay to just ask the question "what is it I need to know?" as you are shuffling the cards, which can open a host of doors to messages you need to be given.

During the Reading...
If you are not very good at shuffling cards or can't shuffle at all, let the reader know. In cases like this, I let the person hold the cards, then I shuffle for them, and ask them to say "Stop." when they are happy that I have shuffled them enough.
Don't hold back and sit there with your arms folded. By closing yourself off, you will not receive a clear reading.

After the Reading...
No one has ever been told what they want to hear - please don't dwell on it or feel that you have been ripped off. See the things you have been told as an opportunity to grow and move forward. No reader is in the business of telling people what they want to hear.
Remember that you have the power to change anything that was predicted during your reading, so move forward fearlessly knowing that if it doesn't work for you, you have the ability to change it!
